Why Give

USPC provides top quality educational programs, while keeping dues low for our youth members.  National participating youth membership dues only cover 40% of the total cost involved in providing programming for each member.   The remaining 60% comes from other sources. Pony Club programs and activities are supported through the fundraising efforts of the National Office and the generosity of its members, friends and volunteers.  Any gift to USPC, no matter the size, makes a difference.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is vital to the success of Pony Club because it supports ongoing Pony Club programs.  The Annual Fund supports programs such as, National Youth Congress, International Exchanges, instructional materials for clubs and regions, special award programs, scholarships, and much more!  In addition, the Annual Fund supports seminars and ongoing training for National Examiners, District Commissioners, Regional Supervisors, Horse Management Judges, and many other volunteers who play a crucial role in providing opportunities and activities for our members.

Ways to Give

Individual cash gifts to the Annual Fund are an excellent way to support USPC.  As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.  Gifts may be made in honor or in memory of a person, animal, or special event and is a great way to let someone know how special they are.

Many companies offer matching gift programs.  Check with your company’s personnel department to see if they offer such a program and, if so, take advantage of the opportunity.  It is an easy way to double your gift to USPC!

In addition, gifts of securities may be made to the Annual Fund.  Gifts of common stock can be made at any time, allowing the donor to receive the fair market value of the securities at the time the gift is made as a tax deduction.

You may make a contribution online using our secure server, or download a contribution form to mail in with your gift.

Walk of Fame

The USPC Headquarters building features a special brick patio and walkway where your favorite equine friend or special Pony Club volunteer, instructor, or member can be honored or memorialized. Or you can buy a brick for your favorite Pony Club or Region!  Don’t forget to come by the USPC office anytime you are in the area and view the Faithful Friends Equine Walk of Fame.

You may place an order for a brick online, or by downloading the order form.

Planned Giving

The USPC Heritage Society recognizes individuals who have included Pony Club in their will, or have made provisions in their estate plans.  This is wonderful way to acknowledge the impact that Pony Club has had in your life as a member, a volunteer, or a parent.

Members of the Heritage Society are acknowledged in the Annual Report and with a Heritage Society pin.  If you have made provisions for Pony Club in your estate plans and would like to be included in the Heritage Society, or would like more information on including USPC in your will, please contact the USPC Development Department.

Championships

Each year, USPC holds National Championships.  Members qualify for the National Championships through participation in regional rallies.  Championships are conducted in same manner as rallies with most of the disciplines sending a team of mounted members and an unmounted stable manager.  Championships are offered in Dressage, Eventing, Mounted Games, Polocrosse, Quiz, Show Jumping, and Tetrathron.  Click here for more information on the upcoming USPC National Championships. Every three years, a week long "Festival" is held at the Kentucky Horse Park, which includes the USPC National Championships and additional educational opportunities for USPC members and their families.

Championships is a big undertaking requiring many volunteers to put on an event of this size.  Any financial support is greatly appreciated.  There are many different levels of participation – click here to learn more and for a sponsorship form, or you may support the USPC Championships online using our secure server.

Festival

The weeklong USPC Festival is held every three years in Lexington, Kentucky, at the Kentucky Horse Park. Championships are held the first three days, followed by four days of mounted and unmounted clinics and workshops. Festival is open to all USPC families with activities planned for all family members. Click here for more information on Festival.

The next Festival will be held in 2010.
